国宝木造建築物で全国5位の大きさを誇る御影堂で、史上初の一般公開プロジェクションマッピングを開催。

幅約42メートル、高さ約25mの巨大な国宝木造建築物・御影堂に極彩色の鳥や蓮など専修寺が誇る文化財や象徴をモチーフとしたデジタルアートコンテンツを投影します。

このイベントは、2023年に迎える親鸞生誕850年の1年前記念事業です。

The first ever public projection mapping in the Mieido, the fifth largest wooden building in Japan and a national treasure.

Digital art contents featuring the pride of Senshuji’s cultural assets and symbols, such as birds and lotuses in richly-colored colors, will be projected onto the huge Mieido, a 42-meter wide and 25-meter high wooden building that is a National Treasure.

This event is a commemorative project one year before the 850th anniversary of Shinran’s birth, which will be celebrated in 2023.
