西日本で唯一シロイルカを見られる、しまね海洋館AQUASではこの春プロジェクションマッピングを導入。
“光降るアクアス”をテーマに、映像と生物のコラボレーションによる新しいプロジェクトを携え2022年3月16日からリニューアルオープンします。

「海×神話」を全体のキーワードとして、海の生き物たちの生態を見る・知るだけでなく、生き物たちをきっかけに、島根の文化や魅力、地球環境へと意識が広がって行く、しまね海洋館だけの特別な体験をお届けします。展示されている生き物を神話の世界とリンクさせ、光をふんだんに使った幻想的な空間を演出します。

Shimane Aquarium, the only place in western Japan where beluga whales can be seen, will introduce projection mapping this spring.
Under the theme of “Light Falling on AQUAS,” the pavilion will reopen on March 16, 2022, with a new project featuring a collaboration of images and living creatures.

With “sea and myth” as the overall keywords, the museum offers a special experience unique to Shimane Aquarium, where visitors can not only see and learn about the ecology of sea creatures, but also use the creatures as an opportunity to broaden their awareness of Shimane’s culture, charm, and the global environment. The creatures on display are linked to the world of mythology, creating a fantastic space with abundant use of light.
