アイヌ語で「大勢で歌う」ということを意味する「ウポポイ（民族共生象徴空間）」。4月24日にオープンを予定していましたが、新型コロナウィルスの影響でオープンを延期。ウポポイは、東京ドーム2個分の広大な敷地に、アイヌの文化や生活用品を展示し、伝統文化なども体験できる施設です。

夜にはアイヌに伝わる創世神話をダイナミックなプロジェクションマッピングショーで上演。映像、音、光り輝くオブジェや樹木が連動したユニークな演出をお楽しみいただけます。

この夏の、一日も早いオープンが待ち遠しいですね。

“Upopoy” (National Ainu Museum and Park) is an Ainu word meaning “singing in large numbers”. It was
scheduled to open on April 24, but the opening was postponed due to the new coronavirus. Upopoy is a
facility where you can experience traditional culture by displaying Ainu culture and daily necessities on the
vast site of two Tokyo Domes.

In the evening, a dynamic projection mapping show of the Genesis mythology transmitted to the Ainu will be performed. You can enjoy a unique production in which images, sounds, glittering objects and trees are
linked.

We can’t wait for the opening of this summer as early as possible.
