音楽イベントには、プロジェクション、ライト、火、煙、LEDパネルなどを使用し、観客に没入型のエンターテイメント体験を提供してきた歴史があります。これらの経験は、テクノロジーが進歩し続けるにつれてさらに強化されてきました。

毎年ベルギーで開催される、世界最大の音楽祭の１つである『トゥモローランド』は、２００５年から始まり、昨年は約４０万人が参加しました。

なお、今年のイベントは、Covid-19の影響で来年に延期されました。
代わりに、２０２０年７月２５～２６日にオンラインイベントが開催されます。
トラビススコットをフィーチャーしたForniteのバーチャルコンサートの大成功を含め、バーチャル環境はかなり進化しています。
世界最大の音楽祭の１つがバーチャルスペースでどのように行われるか、そしてどのようにプロジェクションや光などをバーチャルスペースに持ち込まれるのか、とても興味深いですね。

Electronic music events have a history of using projection, lights, fire, smoke, led panels etc. to give the audience an immersive entertainment experience. These experience has been even more enhanced as technology continues to advance.

One of the largest in the world, Tomorrowland is a yearly Belgian music festival started in 2005 with about 400 thousand people attending it last year. However, due to covid-19, this year event has been postponed to next year.
Instead, they have an online event coming up on July 25-26th, 2020.
Seeing as a majority of things has become virtual, including the huge success of Fornite’s virtual concert featuring Travis Scott, it would be interesting to see how one of the largest music festival will take it on in a virtual space, and to see how they will bring light, projections etc into it as well.
